Milan, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – “This decision comes at a time when Europe has many enemies, perhaps more enemies than ever, both inside and outside.” This was stated by former Prime Minister Mario Draghi in a video message broadcast during the announcement of the winner of the Charlemagne Prize, cited by German media. “To preserve the European Union, Europeans must remain more united than ever,” he explained. “We must overcome our self-imposed weaknesses. And we must become stronger: militarily, economically, and politically,” he added.
