Milan, 20 January (LaPresse) – The internet blackout in Iran has been going on for over 280 hours, or more than 11 days, since it began on Thursday, 8 January. This was reported by NetBlocks. ‘With the internet blackout in Iran now lasting over 280 hours, the country of over 90 million people remains isolated for another day, preventing friends and family from contacting their loved ones. Meanwhile, traffic on selected platforms indicates an emerging whitelisting strategy,’ the organisation writes in a post.
