Bill on violence against women, Bongiorno presents new text: ‘Higher penalties of up to 13 years’

Rome, 27 January (LaPresse) – Giulia Bongiorno, rapporteur for the bill against violence against women and chair of the Senate Justice Committee, has presented a new text with higher penalties: up to 12 years in the case of sexual acts against the will of the victim and up to 13 years in the presence of aggravating circumstances (violence or threats).
