Milan, April 9 (LaPresse) – "The court gave a partially positive opinion, but as is customary, the court reserves its decision, and we will know what they decide after the advisory council, which is not public." This is how lawyer Glauco Gasperini, substitute for lawyer Bocellari, the defense attorney for Alberto Stasi, spoke to reporters today after the hearing before the surveillance judge in Milan, who will decide on Stasi's request for semi-liberty. Stasi was sentenced to 16 years for the murder of Chiara Poggi, which took place in Garlasco on August 13, 2007. "Alberto Stasi did not attend due to respect for the advisory council, which is a hearing with specific purposes," the lawyer continued. "We won’t discuss the Pavia matter because it is different from the procedure being dealt with today," he concluded.
