Rome, 10 Apr. (LaPresse) – Did I hear Vincenzo De Luca? ’No, in fact I want to clarify: I have never had parallel relationships and dealings in this matter. The only time I saw De Luca in all this was at Vinitaly. So there is no shady dealings between governors’. This is what the President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, said the day after the Constitutional Court's ruling on the third mandate in Campania. “I have always thought about governing and I have never dealt with this appeal”, he assures. ’I saw the ruling yesterday and honestly it didn't surprise me. But I was intrigued by the fact that the Court wrote two important things: that not all governors and mayors have their mandates blocked – and this is good to repeat to the citizens – and the fact that the blocking of mandates applies to all regions that have adopted the electoral law: so those that haven't adopted it after 2004 are exempt? I understand it to be yes’.
Third term, Zaia: ‘Campania sentence? It's strange that the law doesn't apply to everyone’
