Music: Achille Lauro leaves X Factor: ‘Two wonderful years’

Turin, 10 April (LaPresse) – Achille Lauro is leaving X Factor. He announced the news himself via Instagram. “After two wonderful years on X Factor with a unique team and moments I’ll never forget, my time on the show comes to an end here,” writes the singer. “I’m at a wonderful stage in my life. Between a massive stadium tour and the overwhelming love I’m receiving, I’ve decided to devote myself entirely to music and to those who have given me everything over the years. Music is my home. I’ve been writing songs since I was very young; I’ve dreamed of this my whole life and I want to give my all to my people and to this dream.” After thanking the other judges, presenter Giorgia and the programme’s staff, Lauro finally addressed his audience. “Senato has been amazing,” he concluded. “And as always, I’ll quote the great Califano: ‘I’m not ruling out a return’. See you at the stadiums.”
