Milan, 20 Apr. (LaPresse) – The falls in fuel prices at the pump are wholly insufficient and, once again, highlight the imbalances that characterise the petroleum products sector in Italy. This is according to Codacons, based on the latest data released by Mimit. The average price of diesel has fallen today to €2.103 per litre, a drop of 3.7% compared to 9 April, the date on which price reductions at the pump began, Codacons notes – For petrol, the reduction is even more modest, standing at -1.9%, with the average price falling from €1.792 to €1.758 per litre. In terms of cost, Codacons continues, the saving on a full tank of diesel is now on average €4 compared to prices on 9 April, whilst the cost of a full tank of petrol has fallen by €1.70.
