Milan, 29 April (LaPresse) – The Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office is obtaining the adoption order for Nicole Minetti’s son issued by the Uruguayan Court of Maldonado in connection with the request for a presidential pardon submitted by the defence team of the former regional councillor, who was definitively sentenced to one year and one month for embezzlement in the ‘Rimborsopoli’ trial and to two years and ten months for incitement to prostitution in the ‘ Ruby bis’ trial. This decision was taken to verify the authenticity of the document attached by Minetti’s defence team to the request for a pardon granted by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, which had received the favourable opinion of the Deputy Public Prosecutor of Milan, Gaetano Brusa, and the Ministry of Justice, and thus to ascertain the regularity of the procedure.
