Moscow: “NATO is preparing for a large-scale conflict on its eastern flank”

Milan, May 28 (LaPresse) – “The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is constantly strengthening its military capabilities on its eastern flank, maintaining intense intelligence and training activities in that area, modernizing existing infrastructure, and building new facilities. NATO, in fact, is preparing for a large-scale armed conflict in the east.” This was stated by Sergei Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, at the opening of an international meeting of high-level security representatives.
