Turin, 10 June (LaPresse) – India has condemned a US air strike against an oil tanker with an Indian crew off the coast of Oman. US Central Command stated that the vessel was targeted whilst attempting to breach the blockade of Iranian ports. The Foreign Ministry in New Delhi, CNN reports, denounced in a statement “attacks on commercial shipping and civilian infrastructure in the region” and also summoned the top US diplomat in New Delhi, Chargé d’Affaires Jason Meeks, to lodge a formal protest, according to ministry sources.
