Brussels, 17 June (LaPresse) – “Leaders will discuss continued support for Ukraine. In particular, they will discuss work on the implementation of the support loan to Ukraine, with the first tranche of €3.2 billion expected to be disbursed as early as next week.” This was stated by European Commissioner for Trade Maros Sefcovic during a debate on preparations for tomorrow’s and Friday’s European Council meeting at the Parliament’s plenary session. “This,” he added, “follows on from the 21st package of sanctions and recent positive developments regarding the accession process for both Ukraine and Moldova.”
