Rome, 20 June (LaPresse) – Iran’s Executive Vice-President, Mohammad Jafar Ghaem Panah, has stated that around $25 billion of frozen Iranian assets will be released in full, albeit gradually, and will be used to fund infrastructure development. “Ghalibaf’s trip to Qatar, alongside our country’s negotiating delegation, was undertaken to determine how and in what form the Iranian assets would be unfrozen,” he said in an exclusive interview with the IRNA news agency, estimating that the total value of these assets is likely to amount to $25 billion.
