Brussels, 22 June (LaPresse) – Moscow’s airports were temporarily closed overnight after around 60 Ukrainian drones were intercepted. The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, posted a series of updates on the airports and the number of drones intercepted, stating that 27 drones had been shot down within an hour. According to the mayor, a total of 70 drones targeting the city were destroyed. Operations at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovskiy airports were suspended for a few hours before resuming at around 5.39 am, as reported by the aviation authority.
