Rome, 24 June (LaPresse) – The agreement between Iran and the United States to end the war is “an admission of defeat on America’s part”. This was stated by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, head of the Iranian negotiating team. “The Islamabad agreement was not the result of pressure and coercion, but of the resistance and authority of the courageous Iranian nation,” Ghalibaf said during a conference in Azerbaijan broadcast on Iranian television. “That is why the Islamabad memorandum of understanding has become a declaration of defeat for America.”
