Rome, 28 June (LaPresse) – Tragedy on the outskirts of Nancy, in France, where a light aircraft crashed late this morning in Tomblaine. There were around ten people on board: according to local media reports, the aircraft crashed near the cemetery exit; the death toll is believed to be very high. In a message posted on social media, the Meurthe-et-Moselle prefecture stated that the accident involved “a civilian aircraft that had taken off from Nancy-Essey aerodrome”. The department’s prefect, Yves Seguy, has activated the departmental operations centre (COD), “in order to ensure real-time monitoring of the incident”.
