Rome, 1 July (LaPresse) – Following an intervention by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, the Italian Ambassador to Cairo, Agostino Palese, secured the release of Italian citizen Nessy Guerra, who has returned home with her daughter. This is according to informed sources. The Egyptian police authorities claimed that the reason for the detention was an executive order, under which the father of the minor, Aisha, Tamer Hamouda, was entitled to see his daughter Aisha, without, however, providing further details.
