To conceive, devise, plan, propose and bring the programme to fruition was an extraordinary achievement, demonstrating great vision in foreign policy. “Understanding that peace is consolidated through mutual understanding, which fosters mutual respect and admiration, thereby strengthening relations and facilitating international cooperation – this is the path to peace.” So said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, whilst receiving the executive committee of the Fulbright Commission.
