Turin, 6 July (LaPresse) – Fabio Di Giannantonio will be Alex Márquez’s team-mate at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing from 2027. Both have signed multi-year contracts. In his five seasons in the top class, Di Giannantonio has made steady progress, eventually securing top positions in MotoGP. This season in Barcelona, he secured his second MotoGP victory, following up on his first win in Qatar in 2023. The Roman rider has three podium finishes in the first ten GPs of the 2026 season, as well as four podium finishes in the Sprints, and completes the line-up for the Austrian manufacturer’s team for 2027. “Fabio has taken a step forward and has become a constant presence in the battle for the top positions in MotoGP. His speed and his commitment to delivering top-level performance are beyond doubt,” said Pit Beirer, KTM Motorsports Director. “He is a great pitmate and an excellent person, and we know he will fit perfectly into our Red Bull KTM Factory Racing project.
