Milan, 18 August (LaPresse) – Alberto da Giussano stands out on the green cover, his sword drawn. “Building the League: An Agenda for Renewal” is the title of the book, published by Rubbettino and written by Massimiliano Romeo, Secretary of the Lombard League and leader of the Carroccio group in the Senate. “I had planned to publish this book in the coming months to recount my political experience in Rome and as Secretary of the Lombard League, but I have speeded up the writing process somewhat given the difficult times we are facing. Spending much of my time amongst party activists and the general public, I wanted to describe – and constructively analyse – the strong desire for renewal that is coming directly from the grassroots and the electorate. These are my thoughts, and I hope they may serve as a constructive contribution to the Lega. We are at a stage where we need useful advice and suggestions to revitalise the Movement, and I believe that the signs we have seen recently cannot be ignored.”
