Turin, 19 August (LaPresse) – The law establishing the right to assisted suicide in France has been published in the Official Gazette following its promulgation by President Emmanuel Macron. The text, approved last week by the Constitutional Council with certain reservations, establishes the right to assisted suicide, subject to certain conditions, for certain patients, allowing them to administer a lethal substance to themselves in the presence of a healthcare professional.
