Milan, 23 August (LaPresse) – Sadam Houssain, a 32-year-old man from Pakistan who had been missing for about a week, has been found dead. The announcement was made by the mayor of Manfredonia, in the province of Foggia, Domenico La Marca, who had been contacted by the Pakistani community, which had reported him missing. The 32-year-old’s body was found in the boot of his car near the runway, a few kilometres from Borgo Mezzanone, the so-called ‘farm labourers’ ghetto’ located on a runway at the former military airport between Foggia and Manfredonia. “Whilst investigators are working to establish the causes, those responsible and the reasons behind such a horrific and unjust death, Sadam’s lifeless body cries out for justice and seeks the truth. He was one of the many farm labourers working in our countryside, labouring for a few euros to harvest our agricultural produce,” the mayor wrote on social media.
