Milan, Aug. 26 (LaPresse) – The Ukrainian General Staff said its forces struck a Lukoil refinery in Kstovo, in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, last night. The facility, which has an annual processing capacity of around 125 million barrels, caught fire during the attack. The General Staff said this in a statement. Nizhny Novgorod has repeatedly been targeted by Ukraine. Governor Gleb Nikitin confirmed the attack and said an unspecified “industrial facility” was damaged, without providing further details.
