According to a report in the *Corriere della Sera*, the former Five Star Movement MP is said to have arrived at the hospital “in a serious condition”. “The Five Star Movement community has received the news of Alessandro Di Battista’s hospitalisation in Cuba with great concern,” reads a statement from the M5S. “It hopes to receive positive news and updates, and stands in solidarity with his family at this time of deep concern.”
