Rome, Aug. 30 (LaPresse) – It is still not over in Nepal. A new landslide has now been identified downstream from the natural dam that formed after the flooding at the Nepal-China border. Water is accumulating, putting rescue efforts at risk. The authorities have therefore ordered the rescue teams working at the Gyirong crossing to move to a safe area. According to China’s Ministry of Emergency Management, surveillance drones detected a landslide overnight on a slope located 2.8 kilometers downstream from the first natural dam.
