Milan, Aug. 30 (LaPresse) – An investigation is underway following the discovery of the body of a man around 40 years old, found dead last night at around 10:30 p.m. in a parking lot on Via Piemonte in Castellanza, in the province of Varese: there were reportedly gunshot wounds on the body. The Carabinieri of Busto Arsizio and the Varese investigative unit are conducting the investigation. The man, who was already unconscious when found, died shortly after 118 emergency responders arrived and attempted resuscitation. According to reports, the victim was a 41-year-old Moroccan citizen. Investigators are still examining the cause of death: the body has been made available to the judicial authorities for an autopsy. At this stage, no hypothesis has been ruled out.
