Frankfurt (Germany), Sept. 3 (LaPresse) – Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that if Iran were to attack Israel, the armed forces would strike all of the regime’s infrastructure, “including energy infrastructure,” and send the country “back to the Stone Age.” “We are observing signs indicating that the strong economic pressure Iran is under, combined with fears of an uprising and the fall of the regime, could push the country toward desperate measures,” Katz said during a toast for the Jewish New Year with Defense Ministry employees, as reported by the Times of Israel. “An Iranian attack on Israel will free us from all constraints. We will strike all infrastructure — including energy infrastructure — and send Iran back to the Stone Age and into darkness,” he said. Katz added that “Israel is well prepared, both defensively and offensively, for any eventuality, and the IDF is ready to complete the mission.”
