Turin, Sept. 3 (LaPresse) – The visa admission policy “is a European policy, because every person applying for a visa is checked through the Schengen platform, and if there is no negative alert, the visa is granted.” Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this during a press briefing in Cairo. “In addition, there is strict oversight by Italy, by my Ministry, with constant inspections at all embassies regarding the granting of visas. There was also an inspection in Kyiv recently. We will see together with the other European countries what to do,” he explained. “Certainly, we must prevent infiltrations among people who have all the necessary documents to obtain a visa but then do not have what it takes to be good tourists,” he added.
