The message comes following the acquittal of Maltese tycoon Yorgen Fenech, who was accused of ordering the murder. Metsola emphasises that the commitment remains to establish the responsibility of “those who planted the bomb, those who gave the order” and of those who “abused the institutions in an attempt to cover up” the case and the corruption scandals exposed by the journalist. “For almost a decade, they did everything they could and used every available resource to silence your voice, but they failed,” adds Metsola. “Your pen is still more powerful than all their swords put together.”
