Rome, Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – A US aircraft has entered Russian airspace from Finland. The Russian news agency Tass reported the development, citing air traffic control sources. US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner may be on board the flight, Tass and Interfax reported. The flight departed from Miami International Airport, stopped in Helsinki at around 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, and then continued on, crossing Russian airspace, informed sources told Tass. Yesterday, US officials told Axios that Witkoff and Kushner were expected to hold talks today with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin and on Sunday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv.
