Milan, Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – A sensational comeback by Inter, who overturned a 0-2 deficit to beat Napoli 3-2 in the San Siro match on the third matchday of Serie A. An exciting game, full of chances and played at a very high tempo from the first half, but all the goals came after the break. Politano opened the scoring in the 5th minute, capitalizing on a misplaced pass by Barella, then Hojlund doubled the lead with a sharply angled shot from a tight position. The Nerazzurri did not give up and immediately reduced the deficit in the 11th minute through captain Lautaro, who slid in to meet Dimarco’s cross on the volley and put the hosts back in the game. In the 37th minute, Inter drew level with Thuram’s winning header from Carlos Augusto’s cross. In stoppage time, both teams came close to making it 3-2, but it was the Italian champions who found the winner, with Lautaro Martinez’s decisive touch in a scramble.
