Rome, September 14 (LaPresse) – A source familiar with Russia’s position told the Financial Times that Moscow and Kiev “have resumed talks” on a possible ceasefire in the energy sector. However, Kremlin sources explained that Russian President Vladimir Putin is “reluctant” to reach an agreement before winter, when he believes attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure “could increase pressure on Kiev to make concessions.”
