Milan, 12 Oct. (LaPresse) – “Home wins alone won’t be enough to secure qualification; we have to give our all in every match. Brugge are a team with a proactive style and a certain quality. It won’t be easy, because in the Champions League no match is easy.” So said Inter manager Cristian Chivu in an interview with Sky Sport. “It’s only right that a team like Inter should aim to give it their all and dream of going far,” he added. As for possible changes to the line-up: “We need energy, determination and the right attitude. We have a strong squad, whose players bring their individual qualities to the team,” said the Nerazzurri manager, who did not rule out the possibility of resting Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who has just returned from injury. “No one can question Çalhanoğlu’s quality; we’ll see how we manage his involvement because we’re playing every three days and we need everything we’ve got. We mustn’t put the players’ fitness at risk,” he concluded.
