Public finances: IMF raises Italy’s GDP forecast to 0.8 per cent in 2026

Rome, 13 Oct. (LaPresse) – The International Monetary Fund has revised its forecasts for Italy’s public finances upwards, increasing them by 0.3 percentage points to 0.8 per cent for 2026. The forecast for 2027 has also been revised upwards, by 0.1 percentage points to 0.6 per cent. This is according to the recently published World Economic Outlook.
