Venice, Oct. 17 (LaPresse) – Shocking defeat for Napoli, who lost 1-0 away to Venezia in a match valid for the seventh round of Serie A. The decisive goal was scored by Adams early in the second half, with a crucial deflection by Rrahmani. After an uneventful first half, the Neapolitan side reacted furiously after falling behind, but Stankovic was the standout performer, making several decisive saves, including a penalty saved from De Bruyne in the 23rd minute of the second half. Davide Nicola could hardly have hoped for a better debut on the bench of the orange-and-greens, who move up the standings and reach three points. Allegri’s team, meanwhile, suffered their third defeat in Serie A and remain stuck on ten points.
