Rome, 19 Oct. (LaPresse) – The majority summit convened by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the next budget law has concluded at Palazzo Chigi. The meeting was attended by the Vice Presidents of the Council, Antonio Tajani and Matteo Salvini, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Giancarlo Giorgetti, and the leader of Noi Moderati, Maurizio Lupi. “At the heart of the meeting was a discussion on the priorities of the economic plan, available resources, and measures to support families, businesses, and workers,” majority sources reported, specifying that “during the summit, an update was taken on the ongoing negotiations with the European Union to obtain greater flexibility. Precisely in light of the negotiations, the approval of the Budget Bill by the Council of Ministers will be postponed by a few days, with the aim of defining a budget that takes into account the outcome of the discussions with Brussels.”
