Rome, 31 Oct. (LaPresse) – Spanish KTM rider Pedro Acosta has won the Sprint race at the Malaysian Grand Prix, finishing ahead of his compatriot Marc Marquez on the Ducati, who has extended his lead in the championship standings to +19 over Jorge Martin (Aprilia), who has withdrawn from this weekend’s event. Also on the podium was Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), ahead of Ogura, Di Giannantonio and Bagnaia. Alex Marquez and Miller were out. If Marquez scores at least 18 points in Sunday’s main race (finishing 1st or 2nd), he will have his first chance to clinch the title next weekend in Qatar.
