Frankfurt (Germany), 31 Oct. (LaPresse) – Iran has examined the letter sent by US Vice-President JD Vance and discussed it during high-level meetings. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with Al Jazeera, describing the American attempt to pave the way for broader dialogue with Tehran as “a positive step”. “We have carefully studied Vance’s letter and discussed it in high-level meetings. The US side’s attempt to open a broader path to dialogue and understanding is a positive step,” said Araghchi. The minister did, however, warn Washington: “If the US’s aim in sending this letter is to sow discord, it would be yet another mistake to add to the previous ones.”
