Milan, 1 Nov. (LaPresse) – In a video message released alongside the head of the Shin Bet, David Zini, the chairman of Israel’s Central Elections Committee, Noam Sohlberg, reiterated that last week’s elections were conducted “properly” and that most of the allegations of electoral interference are false. The results “reflect the will of the voters”, he added. Referring to widespread allegations that Qatar or Turkey had paid to influence the Arab vote in the elections, Sohlberg explained that if the suspicions were to be confirmed, “this would not undermine the integrity of the electoral process or the election results as a whole”. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
