Turin, 2 Nov. (LaPresse) – Over the past two years, the United States “has not only failed to propose any diplomatic initiative, but has actively obstructed diplomatic processes. Iran’s main criterion in the negotiations will be exclusively the concrete behaviour and practical actions of the US government. Now the next move is up to the United States, and Iran’s demands are absolutely clear and reasonable”. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, at a press conference reported by Al Jazeera. “No agreement will be reached, nor will the Strait of Hormuz be reopened or made safe, until the US naval blockade is lifted and Iran’s legitimate demands are fully met,” he explained.
