Rome, 5 Nov. (LaPresse) – “As the Foundation’s four guiding principles so clearly state, those born in the South should be free to choose to remain there, should be able to return if they gain experience elsewhere, and those coming from outside should be able to settle in the South. This is key to the development of the entire country, a matter of national interest for Italy, and those who work towards this aim are carrying out a valuable task in the life of our national community.” So said the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, speaking at the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Fondazione con il Sud, currently taking place in Naples.
