Milan, 7 May (LaPresse) – The Senate Committee on Parliamentary Immunities has denied authorisation to acquire the correspondence of former Culture Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano. The focus was on telephone chats relating to the case of businesswoman Maria Rosaria Boccia. The request by the Court of Ministers was rejected by a majority. The matter now passes to the Chamber of Palazzo Madama, which will have the final word.
