Rome, May 15th (LaPresse) – The reform for the separation of careers "was already approved in the Chamber months ago, and there was, not even a necessity, but I would say a rational consequence that after the discussion in Montecitorio, there would be an adequate discussion in the Senate, but one that did not cross into obstructionism or time-wasting," said Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio, speaking in the Chamber during the conference "Legitimate Impediment: A Right for the Legal Profession," organized by the National Bar Council. The opposition, he added, "has already had all the available time: they held dozens of hearings, hundreds of queries, listened to all possible people, and heard the most varied opinions, from those who said it is an ultimately insufficient reform, to those who instead argued that it is a reform that is even punitive against the judiciary."
