Milan, 30 June (LaPresse) – Alessandro Bastoni, a defender for Inter and the Italian national team, is under investigation for child prostitution as part of the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office’s inquiry into a network of parties and escort services organised between Milan and Mykonos by the events company MA.DE, based in Cinisello Balsamo, which is said to count numerous Serie A and internationally renowned footballers among its clients. The news – first reported by *La Repubblica* – has been confirmed by investigative sources. The 27-year-old has been served with a notice to appear for questioning in the coming days by the Guardia di Finanza, coordinated by Milan’s deputy public prosecutor, Bruna Albertini. Back in April, the investigation had already led to four precautionary measures of house arrest being imposed for criminal association, aiding and abetting, and exploitation of prostitution against the organisers of the ‘evenings’, who were responsible for the ‘transport of the girls’ and the ‘economic and financial’ aspects, such as the management of ‘takings’, and making ‘payments’ to the escorts for ‘services’ of a sexual nature.
