Milan, June 24 (LaPresse) – The League’s political retreat, initially scheduled for July 4-5 in Mogliano Veneto, in the province of Treviso, has been postponed. “Midway through next week, a new meeting of the League’s Territorial Affairs Committee will take place to continue the work launched during Monday’s session. This will be followed by two further meetings that have already been scheduled, including the participation of external guests invited to provide contributions and in-depth analysis on specific issues: implementation of autonomy in all regions, urban security, healthcare and the reduction of waiting lists, implementation of the Housing Plan, acceleration of Special Economic Zones (SEZs), the environment, urban regeneration, and support for areas with high levels of pollution,” said Stefano Locatelli, the League’s head of local authorities. “In the coming weeks,” he added, “the members of the Committee will develop operational proposals on each of these issues, drawing on the experiences and needs emerging from local communities.” “At the conclusion of this in-depth process, and once the framework of proposals developed by the Committee has been defined, the two-day policy meeting with the federal secretary and all League parliamentarians will be convened, with the aim of defining the priorities and political battles to be pursued ahead of 2027,” Locatelli concluded.
