Turin, 10 May (LaPresse) – Roma secured a dramatic 3-2 away win against Parma in stoppage time in their Serie A matchday 36 fixture, keeping their Champions League hopes alive as they move up to 67 points in fourth place, level on points with Milan, who face Atalanta later this evening. An excellent first half-hour for the Giallorossi, who broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute through Malen, set up by a through ball from Dybala, and came close to doubling their lead with a header from Soulè that hit the post. After falling behind, however, the hosts reacted and, early in the second half, levelled the score with a low, angled shot from Strefezza. The visitors then threw themselves back into attack and created three or four chances to regain the lead (Suzuki made a miraculous save from Malen), but it was Parma who found the net through Keita, assisted by Estevez. In stoppage time, Rensch levelled the scores with a low shot from outside the box; the Giallorossi regained their belief and, in the 99th minute, Rensch won a penalty for a naive foul by Britschgi in the box. Malen made no mistake from the spot, securing three crucial points for his team. Gasperini’s side thus climb to 67 points, whilst Parma remain on 42.
