Milan, 9 October (LaPresse) – As part of the agreement reached in Egypt between Israel and Hamas, Israeli troops will withdraw from densely populated areas: this withdrawal is expected to begin on Friday, but could also begin later today. This was stated by a senior Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, speaking on the pan-Arab television channel Al-Araby TV. ‘The Israelis should withdraw from all densely populated areas, particularly Gaza City, Khan Younis, Rafah and northern Gaza,’ he said.
