They want to get to work, they would like to work.” This was stated by Donald Trump speaking with journalists at the White House regarding negotiations with Iran. “Yesterday 34 ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz: by far the highest number since this silly shutdown began,” Trump then wrote on Truth. The traffic of tankers and merchant ships through the Strait in the days prior to the conflict, according to available data, was on average 120–150 ships per day.
