Milan, 24 Oct. (LaPresse/AP) – “I believe that right now she’s doing better than the professionals” when it comes to negotiation. US President Donald Trump said this about First Lady Melania, praising her for the truce in Oleshky, Ukraine. When asked about a possible visit to Ukraine, Melania Trump replied: “We’ll see.” The US President said that Melania Trump had spoken to both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky. The US First Lady brokered a limited ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the Oleshky area, a town under Russian occupation which, she said, is “on the brink of disaster”. “ “It’s fantastic to have the Pope’s support,” she said, adding that the ceasefire is due to come into effect on 27 October. “I hope everything goes to plan,” said the First Lady. Ukrainian, Russian and US negotiators reached the agreement on Friday. Officials from all parties involved have confirmed its existence, but many details have not been disclosed.
