Senate: La Russa, in 2026 I would like a concert by Zucchero, who is left-wing but my favourite

Rome, 21 December (LaPresse) – Satisfaction with the Christmas concert was expressed by Senate President Ignazio La Russa, who, speaking to reporters after the event, also revealed some behind-the-scenes details, starting with the choice of artist, for which La Russa confided that he had expressed two preferences in addition to Baglioni, namely Celentano and Zucchero. Celentano was not available, and with Baglioni “it went very well”, but “I hope to bring Zucchero here next year”, who, “even though he is left-wing, is my favourite”, the second-highest office holder in the state said ironically. La Russa recalls meeting Fornaciari during a family holiday: “We were in the same place for a week,” says La Russa, “he joked that he discovered on that occasion that his staff were almost all right-wing”.
