Rome, 18 February (LaPresse) – ‘I was prompted’ to participate in a regular session of the CSM “by the need and desire to emphasise, once again, the value of the CSM’s important constitutional role. Above all, the need and intention to reaffirm the respect that must be nurtured and shown – particularly by other institutions – towards this institution.” Thus spoke the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, opening the Plenary Session of the Superior Council of Magistrates at Palazzo Bachelet.
